I will take your wav mixdown of your song and do everything I can to make it sound as good as possible. I will work with you to be sure what style of mix you prefer, like spacey vs. clean acoustic, for example. I will not limit the job by the time it takes. The job is finished when there is nothing else I can do to improve the song and you are happy with the result. If this sounds too good to be true, keep in mind that there is only so much that CAN be done to an already mixed stereo file. I know my tools and how to use them, so even if there is some noise reduction, or clipping repair required*, I can usually get it done in a few hours.

1) This offer is for 1 song of 6 minutes or less.
2) Wav file uploading is for folks with broadband internet access. If no hi-speed connection is available, a cd in the mail is fine.
3) The turn around time will typically be 2 or 3 days. For best results, I find that "sleeping on a mix" is helpful.
4) Wav files of up to 24 bit/ 96KHz resolution will be accepted. Files should be at least 16bit/44.1 KHz. There should be no clipping and no post mix processing (inc. dithering-if it's a 24 bit mix, please leave it.) There will of course be a variety of effects on individual tracks, but leave the post mix processing to me.

About the Pricing

Yes, $20 is WAY cheap. Typical prices for 1 song range from about $50 to $200. They often include extras that most indies/internet musicians would rather not pay for. I can offer anything up to full CD mastering with online delivery of DDP (disk description protocol) files to the replication facility (to avoid error issues with CD-Rs,) but this offer is for 1 song delivered over the internet in the form of a cd format (16/44.1) wav file. I will also provide mp3's upon request at no charge.

*clipping repair is a "last resort" tool, to be used in emergencies, like if the artist is dead and it's the only existing copy.
